Implementation of Automated Grid Software Management Tool: A Mobile Agent Based Approach

In an Enterprise environment, installation and upgrade of software is a time consuming and nonautomated process. Traditionally end-users download the latest version of the software and manually update their own computers. There are few commercial software management products available in the market, which automate this process. This paper presents a method to achieve the same using Mobile Agent Technology. This paper presents a case study for applicability of this approach in a grid scenario.
